Founding Member Agreement
Founding membership helps build the Conscious Technologists Association (CTA) and gives you a place to practice with others in the CT Lab. This agreement explains what is included and how the membership works.
Who provides it: The Association is operated by Faiabrand Pte Ltd, also known as Faiā (“we” or “us”).
The offer
Initial Founding Membership costs $500 as a one-time payment and is limited to 44 seats. The founder may change the price for future members. Once you purchase, the one-time price you agreed to is fixed. It includes lifetime founding membership to the CTA, plus lifetime access to the CT Lab, as described below. There is no recurring membership fee for this founding offer.
What’s included
- CT Lab access: Access to the Lab as the Association’s practice space, including its member community and the standard Lab activities and resources available to members.
- Founding recognition: Recognition as a Founding Member in the Lab and Association. Any public listing or profile recognition will be optional.
- Member discounts: Up to 60% off eligible CT products and services. The discount varies by offering; eligibility and the applicable discount will be stated with the offer.
- Early access: Opportunities to access new CT work early when offered to Founding Members.
- Founding Members’ WhatsApp channel: Access to a private channel for Founding Members, subject to the platform’s terms and availability.
- Substack Founding Member tier: Access to the Founding Member tier on Substack, subject to Substack’s terms and availability.
You can participate at your own pace. You do not have to attend calls, post, or maintain a public profile to keep your membership.
What lifetime means
“Lifetime” means for as long as the CT Lab or an identified successor practice community continues to operate. Your access is not tied to one particular app or platform. If we move the Lab, we intend to provide equivalent access through its replacement.
If the Lab closes or is transferred, we will notify members and explain what happens to their access and any available options. This agreement does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
What may have a separate fee
Specific in-person events, private services, and future training, certification or licensing may have a separate fee. We will make the price and what is included clear before you choose to purchase. Founding membership alone does not grant a professional certification or Fellow standing; any future requirements are still in development.
This section does not remove a benefit separately promised to an existing member.
Community care
The Lab is a space for practice and respectful exchange within the CTA. Please respect other members’ privacy, do not share their contributions without permission, and do not harass or spam others.
If a conduct issue arises, we may restrict access while we review it. We will normally explain the concern and provide an opportunity to respond; serious or urgent safety concerns may require immediate action. If membership is suspended or ended, we will explain the decision and how to request a review.
Changes, refunds and contact
We may change the tools or format used to deliver the membership. If a proposed change materially affects the core benefits or these terms, we will give members notice and explain their options.
Refunds: None, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
