Find your role

Two ways to lead

Both are member roles. You can do both, or start as an ambassador and lead a chapter later.

For an event or series

Ambassador

Organize an event or a short series around a topic. Represent the Association and make introductions.

For a local community

Chapter lead

Run a regular chapter in one city: meet every two weeks and take part in the monthly online session.

Confirmed leads are listed on the Chapters page.

Chapter leads

What you do

Host at least two meetings a month. We provide the playbook and a structure for each session.

  • Set a date and place. A table in a cafe is enough.
  • Invite people. Welcome practitioners, newcomers, and anyone curious.
  • Run the session. Use the host playbook and bring your questions.
  • Make an introduction. Aim for one useful introduction each meeting. Ask before sharing anyone's details.

Support and expectations

What the Association provides

  • Brand: The Association name and logo, and a page for your city.
  • Materials: Conscious Stack materials, the host playbook, and a session structure.
  • Network: Monthly online sessions and members you can invite.
  • Contact: Someone to talk to when you need support.

What we ask of you

  • Follow the principles. Our code of ethics is in draft.
  • Keep it free of sales pitches. No pitches, funnels, or sponsor slots unless we agree first.
  • Recommend people you know. Make introductions you can stand behind.
  • Keep a record. After each event, share who came, what came up, and what you would change. WhatsApp, email, Notion, or another agreed channel all work. A voice note is fine if it is also captured in writing.
  • Tell us early if something goes wrong.

Getting started

Start with a conversation

01

Tell us your idea

Tell us what you want to organize and who you want to bring together.

02

Run a pilot

Host one event with our support. Afterwards, we decide together whether to continue.

03

Confirm a chapter

To list a city as a chapter, at least five members must attend each of two meetings. Register attendees through our Luma calendar and confirm attendance using the event records.

The Association can then confirm a chapter lead for 12 months, with a review at the end.

There is no application fee.

Good to know

Questions

Here are a few things to know before you start.

Do I need to be a member?

Yes. Membership is free. Become a member.

Do I need to be a Practitioner or certified?

No. Practitioner is the Lab, and certification is still in development. Neither is required to host or lead a chapter.

Do I get paid?

Hosting starts as a volunteer role. Paid work or referral opportunities may be possible later, but the terms are discussed and agreed separately.

What if there is no chapter near me?

You can talk to us about starting one.

What if I want to stop?

Tell us. The chapter can pause or be handed over to someone else.
